Spain Tourist Visa Checklist :

• Passport : The validity of passport should be at 06 months from the return date of travel. In case of multiple entries, passport should be valid for 03 months after the last of exit from the country.

Copies of passport pages: All page old +current passport
Pan Card

• Photo Specification: Three recent passport size coloured photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (size 35 – 45 mm)

Please note: Photograph should not be more than 6 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas
• Schengen Visa Application Form : Visa application form to be filled online
• Original Cover Letter from Employer :
Original Covering Letter from the employer stating the applicant’s name, professional status, passport details, purpose, duration of visit & expenses to be covered by.
• Invitation Letter:
Invitation letter from Switzerland business partner.
Applicant’s full name, address, Email-ID and telephone number, travel dates, & detailed schedule of the business meetings or training (day to day schedule) to be mentioned.
Signed & stamped, mentioning invitee details.
• Airline Reservation– Return flight ticket or travel itinerary. If the applicant is travelling to several Schengen States, proof of intra-Schengen flight/train/bus itinerary or other to be furnished
• Proof of accommodation :
Hotel confirmation for applicant’s entire stay in Schengen.
Traveller’s name should be mentioned on the confirmation
•Travel & Health Insurance :
Minimum coverage € 30,000/50,000 USD/50,000 CHF Per Person.
Should cover entire stay in Schengen area.
Applicants who wish to apply for six months or a one-year multiple entry visa are not obliged to provide a 180 (365) day coverage. It is sufficient to submit an insurance policy covering the first journey.
• Financial Documents – Bank Statement: Original personal bank statement for last 03 month to till date with bank seal & signature.
ITR Acknowledgement: Personal ITR acknowledgement (ITR-V) for last 02 years.

Proof Of Occupation-
If Salaried :
Original salary bank statement for last 06 month to till date with bank seal & signature.
Copy of salary slips OR salary certificate for 03 months
If Self-Employed:
Original cover letter to be printed on business letterhead with company seal.
Copy of business registration. E.g. GST certificate, Partnership deed, Certificate of Incorporation, etc.
Original business bank statement for last 06 month to till date with bank seal & signature.
Company ITR acknowledgement (ITR-V) for last 03 years
•Additional Document –
Previous Refusal : In case of any previous refusals within last 02 years, copy of refusal letter or written explanation to be provided.

• Note:
a) Visas for UK and U.S.A to be obtained first in case the applicant visits any of these countries before Switzerland/Schengen Countries
b) Embassy/Consulate reserves the right to ask for additional documents at any point of time.
c) If you have been refused a visa by an Embassy or High Commission in the last 2 years:
Refusal notice or a written explanation about the reasons of travel and refusal.
• New Procedure for Schengen Visa Applications: With immediate effect, Indian citizens travelling to Schengen countries for short-term (max 90 days in 180 days) will have to visit VFS visa application centre personally to provide biometric data (fingerprints and digital photograph). For subsequent applications within next 5 years the biometric data will be copied from the previous visa application included in the VIS.

Exemptions from biometrics
• Processing Time : The time required to process Visa Applications is minimum of 10 working days for Satellite VAC under normal circumstances (excluding day of submission at VFS).
• Please Note: Effective from 2nd February, 2020 applicants can apply for a Schengen Visa six months in advance.
