Japan Business Visa For Indian National Check List:

  • BUSINESS AFFAIR / MARKET REASEARCH / CONFERENCE VISA

    Important- Please note all documents should be on A4 size only

  • A valid Passport (with more then two blank pages). Please submit your old passports also, if any.

  • A completely filled and signed Visa Application Form. The form is available under the link

  • One photograph taken within the last six months. (The photograph should be of size 2 x 2 inches, color with
    white background and printed on good quality paper)

  • Original Invitation Letter

  • Schedule of Stay 

  • Covering Letter by the Employer / Travel requisition from the company

  • Travel Booking (Travel itinerary and Hotel Booking)

  • If the inviting company / organization is bearing the expenses

  • a. Original Letter of Guarantee
    b. A certified copy of the incorporation register or an overview of company / organization.

  • Note: 

  • A company listed on stock exchange does not need to submit a copy of the incorporation register or an
    overview of the company / organization. 

  • When an individual is extending an invitation, submit the Certificate of Employment in lieu of a copy of the incorporation register or an overview of the company / organization. 

  • Certificate of Employment / Employment Letter and Leave Sanctioned Letter.
    * Latest Income Tax Returns.
    * If the applicant is owner of company.
    a. Proof of ownership (e.g. Director Identification Number approval issued from Ministry of Corporate Affairs or proprietorship document issued from bank or Import export license). 
    b. Company bank statement. 

  • Proof of Relationship, incase the applicant is accompanied by any dependent, i.e. Passport copy, Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate.

Indian Tourist Visa Check List:

 

Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Attach all your old passports (if any)
Please Note: Bio-page observation note and Hand written Passports will not be accepted
 
• Japan visa application form : One visa application form duly filled and signed.  
Note: Application form has to be typed.
 
• Photo Specification: Two recent photographs in glossy finish, 50% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 50mm x 50mm)
Please note: Photographs should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas
 
• Covering-Letter: Covering Letter from applicant on Plain Paper mentioning name, designation,passport number, purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to – Consulate General Of Japan , Mumbai
Please Note : Covering Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed and For Multiple entry Visa, Kindly mention the reason for applying for Multiple Entry Visa.
 
• Financials :
a) ITR for last 3 yrs
b) Updated personal bank statement for three months mentioning the bank’s name, telephone number, applicant’s name and address, stamp and signature each and every page required. Bank Statements should be on an A4 size sheet .
Note : If the bank statement is not provided on an A4 size sheet then original letter from the bank with balance details should be provided.
 
c) Fixed deposits/Investment Proof (If any)
 
• Proof of Occupation
Self Employed:
a) Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation.
b) Brief Company Profile.
c) Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director).
If Employed:
a) Leave sanction letter from Employer on company letterhead with sign & stamp required of authorization person. and Salary slip for the last 3 month .
• Hotel Booking: Hotel Confirmation, Tour itinerary and Tour payment Confirmation.
• Airline Reservation : Ticket Itinerary
